FULTON COUNTY PROPERTY DATA AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE

The Fulton County’s new iMap website is up and running.  The County was awarded a $100,000 grand from the State Office of Real Property Services to create the website.  The website provides a wealth of information on property assessments, exemptions, dimensions, aerial photography, comparables and many other features; giving the public the same data that the assessors will have.  Topographical maps are available showing land features and wetlands.

The website address is http://gis.fulcony.com , take a look!

COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD

Nick Palmateer’s  Eagle Scout Project, a three sided Community Bulletin Board located on the Village Green on Bridge Street, is nearly completed.  A much needed asset to the community for our residents and visiting tourists, the Bulletin Board will give groups and organizations the opportunity to post their information for upcoming community events, notices and activities at a visible public location.   Nick will initially be maintaining the Board; any group wishing to post notices should contact him.  “Hats off “ and “Thanks” to Nick, his family and helpers for making this project become a reality.  Congratulations, Nick, as you complete the final step in achieving the highest rank of becoming an Eagle Scout.

EASTER EGG HUNT

The second annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Northville/Northampton Joint Youth Program was held April 2nd at various locations around the village. Despite the blustery and certainly not the spring like conditions that we had last year, it was a great success. Approximately 120 Children through grade 6 participated, searching for 3400 eggs hidden at the Northville School, Northville Library, The Town Park at the Bradt Building and The Waterfront Park.  This year the children had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy refreshments afterward at the Village Waterfront Park.  Many thanks to Joint Youth Director, Molly Whitaker and her helpers for another great “Hunt”.
